The 12th Skeptics’ Circle is up
And up early! And a
little unusual this time:
The
Skeptic's Circle Saloon was unlike any bar I'd ever been in. For one thing it
was cool. Some gadget that old Nate - St. Nate to his friends - had cooked up
to circulate air across one of them big blocks of ice and pump it through the
room. St. Nate had a deal worked out with the iceman in town. Free rye as long
as he kept the cooler box filled with ice. There were tables, but they were low
and the chairs were low-slung and padded. Comfortable-like.
Line em up Brent! In a dirty glass!
