What would you think about a woman who claims she was in the World Trade Center when the plane hit on 9/11, sustained multiple injuries, died, went to heaven, and met God and Jesus who told her to return to life and travel the world to spread his message to all mankind? What if this woman was soliciting collections of up to $20,000 each time she told this story at a church meeting? What if she also dabbled in faith healing at these meetings? What if she made several other outlandish claims? You’d be suspicious, right? Or at least, ask for evidence to support her claims.
You would be thinking of “Dr. Kaz deMille” Jacobsen – in inverted commas because it is by no means certain she is a doctor. And because although she claims to be the illegitimate granddaughter of film director Cecil B. DeMille, the DeMille family deny any such connection.
It is a very strange story indeed, and one that Robert Lancaster has made into a quest to investigate and debunk through his Stop Kaz website.
Why focus on this woman when there are so many other frauds equally worthy of attention? As Lancaster says:
…she takes money from people. And since she does it by telling them a pack of lies, she is taking it from them under false pretenses.
And, in my opinion, she does it by desecrating the memory of everyone who died on 9/11.
Good points. Checkout his Stop Kaz website. And if you have any information on this woman, please contact Robert Lancaster: he will be interested to learn what you have.
Thanks for the plug!
